The Sachs/Keating approach to public art is to design artwork for a specific space and situation.
Each place requires a unique artistic response.   They always design to complement the architecture,
landscaping and general environment of a given site.  When appropriate, they design to the theme of the site.
Over the years they have teamed their talents to produce works of art that benefit from their combined visions.
Marilyn is a narrative artist whose approach is intuitive.  Debra is formal and analytical in her approach.
This dichotomy brings a wide spectrum to the table.  They have worked in numerous materials including metal,
concrete, ceramic tile and wood. They have extensive knowledge in design, construction and
finishing phases of small, medium and large scale works and have worked with budgets ranging from
$5,000-$650,000. They enjoy working with other artists and professionals and like to encourage
community input when applicable.
