“River Rail Revival” is the theme of the art work for the Southern New Jersey River Line. It encompasses 20 stations
along a 40 mile corridor between Trenton and Camden, N.J; Marilyn Keating was teamed with two other artists,
(Hiroshi Muratata and Katherine Hackl) to create works for these stations. Nature and industry found along this
Delaware River Route is the theme that encompasses the stations’ artwork.  Installed between 2002-2005. 
Commissioned by New Jersey Transit and New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Images are of the Aquarium Station in Camden, NJ.  Marilyn designed the cast aluminum egrets
and powder coated steel grasses: 30”x16”x16” ea; Each station houses 2 to 4 canopies
topped with two egret finials designed and carved by Marilyn.  
Marilyn also designed the tile images that are seen on the columns and railings throughout the stations.
