Third Leg is one of many arms of the South Jersey Museum of Curiosities, also known as SJMOC LLP. 
Debra Sachs and Marilyn Keating started creating unusual canes and sculptural walking sticks as a side interest
that was partly inspired by Debra's sister-in-law who needed use of a cane and refused to walk around
using an ugly medical device. We thought the same concerns were probably true for others.
Started in 1999, Third Leg has exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show
and the Evanston Craft Exposition.  
Our collection of canes and sticks was exhibited at Moore of Art and Design, Philadelphia, in 2003.

Joel Schwartz is our photographer and computer guru. If a photograph on this site does not
look good, Debra took it!
